I felt like such a horrible mom! First time I was at the computer, and she was playing on my lap when all the sudden she lurched back and my reflexes where just a little too slow and she fell backwards onto the floor. She did one of those cries where you keep telling them, "Okay honey, breathe!" Finally she let out a wail. She didn't even want to nurse, she just wanted momma to hold her close. She didn't cry for long, and I watched her just to be sure she didn't really hurt herself.

The second time was when I was getting her out of the car. The wind caught the door and hit her in the back of the head. This time it left a mark. Poor baby girl. She's okay though. Just had to share my pain (or hers, rather!)
