Okay I went over to another site that I went to when I was preggo and hey have a CD message board- First it is not very active- like maybe 2-4 post a day. But the information is so bad- I feel so sorry for the new moms that ask questions and get either no advice or bad advice. I wonder how many mama's are fighting cloth because they are using the wrong system and have no idea there are anything better. I want to scream MDC!!! But I dont out of respect for the board- but I do ask the woman to e-mail me for more info and always tell them to come here. I wonder- what can I do help all these woman. I just can imagine having babys go to sposies because the mamas system was not working or she didnt get the help she needed- it makes me so sad- one for the baby and two for the mama who doesnt know the joy of good cloth! This message board is pretty main stream but I did see a post of a mama who had a homebirth!!! I just dont think many women know about this site- kwim????

Okay just wanted to share!

Yeah it's interesting how different cd boards have their own culture.

I occasionally post on the babycenter cd board. Lots of newbies there and many who are cding primarily due to cost. nice ladies though.

we should challenge ourselves to advocate for cd by answering at least 1 newbie question a week.

I kwym. And I think I have a pretty good idea of the board you are talking about. As much as it pains my dh's pocketbook to say this, I am so glad I found this board. It made cloth diapering so much fun and helped me troubleshoot all my problems. At least you are telling them to email you. I'm so lazy that way.

Can you PM members of that site?? I'd pm them and let them know about MDC. This is the best CD board I've ever been to and I reccomend it to everyone I know that is interested in cd-ing. It would be a shame to see someone struggling with cd-ing when they could get all the help they need right here. I refer moms here all the time. I don't think I would have made it through cd-ing and breastfeeding without all of you great mamas

I was actually referred to this site from a mama at another site. She posted the link right on the other site. If it wasn't for her I would have never known about this place. So go ahead and post the link, if the site you are posting on does not want it there, they will remove it.

I agree, go ahead and post the link to mdc.

This is really a great forum. I used to spend my time at BTL, but yahoogroups is so clunky and there were too many off topic conversations. :

MDC rocks!
