We are having a boy. We have a daughter named Gabriella who we call Gabbie. We are Jewish and want the name to be something both Jewish/Hebrew/Biblical, but not too hard to pronounce or uncommon. We are currently considering Zachary or Isaac but neither really call to me, you know? I'm looking to find something I haven't thought of yet, somehow! Thanks!

I forgot to mention my dh has said no to a ton of names! He doesn't like Jonah for some reason.

My dh shot it down, but I still like Asher. I also like Gideon, but dh and his brother insist kids on the playground would call him "Gidiot". Those two are impossible.
Nathaniel is another favorite in our area.

I like Asher. Gideon could be an option.
Jacob is on my list but I like the nickname Coby and I'm not sure if Gabbie and Coby would be too confusing.
I bet my husband would say no to Ezekiel, but I do like the nickname Zeke!
I've always liked Noah.
we have a lot of boys' names in my family between my husband (Dave), 2 brothers in law and 7 nephews! Plus lots of friends in the area...well keep the suggestions coming!

Not familiar with the religious background but I believe Lukas is a biblical name, no? It's my SIL's son's name. I think it would sound very nice with Gabrielle.

I always loved Tobias (Toby) for a little boy, but DH shot it down for our son. You can have it

I know it's biblical, not sure about Jewish though.
