And it took forever <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> But I'm so proud of myself. At first I couldn't come up with anything more than turkey tacos (which I was craving the time), but by the end I kept going back to add things in as I remembered! Please tell me it gets easier??? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> Anyway, here it is, in case anyone is looking for inspiration (though it's not all that exciting):<br><br>
Meal Plan: 4/30-5/7<br><br>
Monday:<br><br>
Breakfast – Oatmeal/waffles<br><br>
Lunch – Pasta salad<br><br>
Dinner – Mimi’s chicken and dumplings (my mom's over, and is cooking)<br><br><br>
Tuesday:<br><br>
Breakfast – Baked oatmeal<br><br>
Lunch – Sushi, leftover pasta salad, or sandwiches after Whole Foods, sautéed veggie mix<br><br>
Dinner – Turkey tacos, frozen corn or veggies on the side<br><br><br>
Wednesday:<br><br>
Breakfast – Leftover baked oatmeal<br><br>
Lunch – Taco bowls w/leftover meat<br><br>
Dinner – Teriyaki mahi mahi (Fat Tooth, page 367), sweet potatoes in some form, cauliflower with cheese<br><br><br>
Thursday:<br><br>
Breakfast – Pancakes<br><br>
Lunch – Eggs/egg salad<br><br>
Dinner – Homemade pizza (new crust, veggies on top?)<br>
Friday:<br><br>
Breakfast – Oatmeal/waffles<br><br>
Lunch – Annie’s mac and cheese or leftover pizza<br><br>
Dinner – Salmon patties, broccoli, lemon couscous<br><br><br>
Saturday:<br><br>
Breakfast – Oatmeal pancakes (double batch)<br><br>
Lunch – Sandwiches<br><br>
Dinner – London broil on the grill, grilled sweet potatoes (online), salad/veggie<br><br><br><br>
Sunday:<br><br>
Breakfast – Eggs and sausage/egg and sausage bake<br><br>
Lunch – Leftover london broil?<br><br>
Dinner – Roast chicken, mashed potatoes, veggie<br><br><br>
Monday: MAKE BREAD<br><br>
Breakfast – Leftover oatmeal pancakes<br><br>
Lunch – Pasta salad<br><br>
Dinner – Chicken a la king<br><br><br>
I actually feel in control a little, rather than already running to catch up, woohoo <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/partytime.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="partytime">

Good for you! And it DOES get easier with practice.

It definitely gets easier as you go... You'll save so much money doing the meal plans!
