My face is still breaking out! I am so tired of it. I had great skin before I got pregnant & now, I'm 13 all over again!

I haven't changed the way I am eating that much (except more towards the healthier side) and don't normally use much on my face except eye cream & sunscreen.
I know it will get better, but yuck

Me too! I have a few spots that have been in constant break out mode. I actually decided that it was kind of like eczema, or other skin sensitivity and have been putting California Babie's calendula first aid cream on twice a day, it has really helped the redness.

My skin was HORRIBLE when I was pg with DS! Now, it seems to be better than it has my whole adult life (I'm 37 and just NOW getting rid of my acne!). I will get a zit or two if I eat too many sweets. I wash it once a day with soap and water in the shower, seems like if I do too much, it gets worse. I've always been really oily and still am, but fortunately I'm not breaking out. Last time, my back, shoulders and chest were awful too! And my hair would be totally greasy and gross by the end of the day! Ugh!

Mine has worsened as well. I have bought burts bees poppyseed lemon oil facial scrubwhich is very gental and it works great. I use it nightly and can always tell when I forget. For those days I add on burts bees blemish stick and smile at the results!

Me too -- serious acne on my chin and neck.

I'd like to think mine has gotten a bit better. I've started to use glycolic acid which is supposed to be safe. I've also been using a mit to wash my face and back, and I'm being really careful about trying not to get my hair products on my face. (I've got thick curly hair, so I'm unwilling to give up the products.)

If anyone finds the cure, PLEASE let us know!!

One more thing --- I did have a facial recently and the esthetician (sp?) gave me all of these "dos" and "donts" for helping acne. One was not to wear sunscreen unless I'm going to really be in direct sun. She thinks it really clogs pores. Others were: use natural toothpaste, slow down on hair products and use natural shampoo (sacrifices I'm not willing to make), eat less cheese, drink more water, eat more cherries, soy, chicken and sweet potatoes, don't use mosturizer ... who knows if any of this works, but I thought I would throw it out there ...

I still get the montly period timing pimples on my face lol When I first thought I was pregnant, I was questioning myself asking if that was a period pimple or a pregnancy pimple
turns out it was a pregnancy pimple.

I do some of the above, but since I live in North Texas-we have a ton of sun~I can't give up my sunscreen. I am very fair complexed & even burn of I drive too long. It stinks!

I wonder what the cherries do? It is great seasonal timing for those~~mmm!

I couldn't do all of the things that the esthetician suggested either. As I see it, there is a balance and some things that you just can't give up (for me it is the hair products that keep my jackson five fro in check).

I think she explained the cherries, chicken, soy and sweet potatoes as foods that naturally have estrogen that can lead to clearer skin. I love cherries too, and have been using this as an excuse to eat them more often!
