After about three weeks of eating poorly--WAY too many calories, mostly in the form of Halloween candy and other sweets, and a shamefully unbalanced diet that has favored cheese and bread--I feel awful. To add insult to injury, I've even slacked off on exercise recently. My poor body is hurting. I'm not sleeping well; I feel *off* and generally ill all the time; I'm very irritable, etc.

I desperately need to detox--or at least *reset* myself--and have found myself saying things like, "I just want to eat veggies, fruits, brown rice, and green tea." (I'm vegetarian and love all these things, btw.) But is this really the way to go about detoxing?

Do you have any favorite detox regimes? Do you fast? Do you incorporate supplements or herbal approaches? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I'm off to the gym and to buy some veggies!
Thanks!
I've always wanted to try a juice fast detox! Might be worth looking into for you. However, you're supposed to take time off work (if you work) because you should be resting and meditating during a juice fast.

I feel gross lately too.
I need to do a gentle detox. I think I'm too weak too go full juice only.
Maybe I'll start with brown rice, veggies, fruit and soup.
That should help some right?

There's an every day detox tea that could help a bit. Made by traditional medicinals (love them!)

http://www.traditionalmedicinals.com/?id=31&pid=27
