I think I spent the entire first trimester in denial I was actually going to have another baby- this baby was a suprise after we had tried for years for my second child and even took clomid to have him- so I just couldn't believe it. We had our u/s and I actually saw that healthy little alien (2-d) and that we are having a girl! And I have finally gotten excited.

I've got a lot of hand me downs, but I've bought a few girly things- and I've started drinking my RRL tea today. It feels good to start to actually get excited.

I'm with you.. yeah there is a belly and besides my pants not fitting and not being able to take anything for migraines it still feels kind of foreign to me...

Feeling movement does make it a lot more real too- my dd talked to the baby yesterday and got her moving around the most I've felt her- it was really cool. I'm amazed though how much the tiny one reacted to her sister's voice!
