I have been putting my dipes on an extra fluff cycle after the first hot cycle and the extra tumbling (and possibly slower drying?) has been making them come out sooo soft and fluffy

in fact they are so dreamy soft that i have been thinking about doing it to all my laundry...or perhaps i have gone insane :LOL

I am jsut so happy about my super soft and fluffy diapers
My sherpa has been totally recuperated from there unfortunate whisk experience (side note whisk...and some other detergents make sherpa stiff as a board), my poochies are soft as silk almost, even my nanipoo inners are soft (they tend towards a bit of stiffness)

i ma obviously a total dork to be this happy about soft diapers. even though my newborn diapers are clean. i am actually considering washing them and drying them over to make them super soft like the rest of my :Ahem: Lucien's stash

Ohh times like this make me wish I had a non-commercial washer and dryer in my building...that had options other than hot, cold and warm
Ohhh, it sucks :LOL

Congrats on the new babe!!!

And on soft fluff

And, btw, I am going to be in SPFD for 10 days in the beginning of January!! Hopefully it will be during when you all have a get together

I posted about that last week. I normally dry on low heat for a longer time (to save the elastic). I'm breaking in some diapers so dried on high heat and they were sooo scratchy and rough. I'm talking the prefolds and hemp liners that are normally very soft. It's the high heat that makes them rough.

Hmmm, good to know. I dry everything on high (Prefolds and three hemp fitteds) and my poor little dipes are kinda scratchy. I have tried everything to de-scratchify them, but this is something new!
*slinks off to try new trick immediately*

You are moving to Spfd!!! Wow, how cool. Do you know what part? It blows my mind there are so many MO mamas here. I wish I had known that (I contemplated moving to MO this summer but decided that the community might not be as crunchy as I would like. I now find I was very, very wrong!!). I went to elementary/jr high there. My parents are still there so I go back quite often!!!

I will be in Spfd 1 Jan to 10 Jan. But fear not, I will be back before you know it :LOL

Ohhh I want to meet you all!! That would be excellent!

Interesting. I'd always wondered why I didn't have that scratchy/rough diaper problem that people speak of. I also dry mine on extra low to save the elastic. Of course, when I hang them outside they're kind of like boards after they're dry. :LOL
