A couple of weeks ago I posted for help in finding a new car-Thanks for all your help!<br><br>
We ended up getting a 2007 CR-V and boy is it cool! For a couple of years they were putting a picnic table where the tire well is now, but not anymore. Now the tire is off the back and in a well in the cargo area, and the hatch opens up instead of out. I'm totally excited about this purhcase and love love love it so far. Fun and cute-Yippee!

I have an '05 CR-V and we LOVE it. I would sorely miss the table. It comes in super handy frequently...... I use it as a prep-table when we take our tiny pop-up camping.<br><br>
Anyway, I had a question about the redesign. Actually three questions. First, how is the gas mileage? Next, does the front console still fold down so you can walk into the back? And did I hear right, that they now have optional 3rd row seating?

About the optional 3rd row seating-I'm not so sure. If that is a feature I totally let it slip out of my head since we are a family of 3 and don't ever haul anyone around.<br><br>
Yes, in all the models except the Leather (which is nice but impractical out here) the consoul still folds down. I LOVE that feature.<br><br>
We got the Four Wheel Drive EX and the mileage is 26 City 28 Hwy. There is a button you can push that gives you your average mileaged at the moment and when we drove it (Yep already took it on a road trip) on the highway we were averaging 26-27 mpg, but we were fighting against Texas Wind.<br><br>
All in all we are very happy with it. I really like that they removed the spare from the back window since I'm short and hate having my rear blocked at all.

Congrats on your purchase! I love my '02 CR-V. I've never used my picnic table and think it would be nice to have the spare stowed away. What color did you get? I have the blue, even though I really wanted the black. (The black had the same features and mileage, but was more expensive at the time we bought.)
