Oh the fluffy joy. I had a new mama friend over for tea and she brought her precious 10 lb. 2 month old. She uses flats casually wrapped around baby and through the legs, with a velcro wrap on top. I gave her my small FMBG fitted with sheepies on it, my size 1 Liz's cloth that I've never even washed (yellow carter's Lennon print), and a size 1 sugarpeas, along with 3 indian cotton prefolds and 3 trifold hemp soakers with a bunch of various velcro wraps. OH and a medium Lana soaker dyed aqua with berry kool aid (so pretty)!

She put on the FMBG and the prorap right there in my living room and I got pictures!
I'll post them later. WHAT a high. I think I'm going to try to get her addicted to getting cute American-WAHM-made dipes, considering it's pretty affordable when you have euros and buy in US dollars....
Her little daughter Aino was BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL, too. Almost as gorgeous as Beth's Eden (2much2luv).

OH and I forgot perhaps my greatest feat--I taught her how to use the flats with a snappi in such a way that the diaper is snug, there are gussetts around the legs, and it's much trimmer on her little babe-a-licious.

You're welcome.

I never got to fairy someone in person before... it was so cool! (well I have given away fluff to friends in Finland before, actually, but this was a sizable gift and thus more of a thrill!)

ok, BY THE WAY, I'm sick and feel crummy so humor me by clicking on the 'snuggly bug' link in my sig and telling me if that isn't the cutest pic ever taken of the bug last weekend at our summer cottage.

What an awesome fairy gift! And, what an absolutely cutie pie your ds is!! He looks like an heart-breaking-Scandanavian with those brilliant blue eyes.
(OT: is it still cold back there? my dad will be in Norway in a week and up until the time he left on his trip, it was still only in the low 60's ...)

He's beautiful...What a nice mama to share the cloth
. It looks like you live in such a nice country. Aren't you supposed to be coming home soon? We'll try to have a gettogether when you do so you can make it.

I was going to go to TN this spring/summer, but looks like my mom's coming here instead for July. I won't be in TN for the next six months, looks like.

It's chilly today, yeah, low 60s or even chillier.
But we've had a few summery days, too, like the one in the pics. In the next two weeks all the chilly days will go away for awhile and we'll have a real, gorgeous, SHORT Finnish summer.
