We're having a girl!

She looks lively. I feel happy and more than a little scared. I don't know if I can live up to the expectations of being a mom to a daughter!!! Don't girls hate their mothers (eventually?).

Sort of, but they come around

I don't have girls myself but my mother had three daughters and we all went through it to a point, and then came around once the teenage hormones settled down. Congrats!! You will be a wonderful mom to your little girl!

I have 4 DDs... ditto what LittleBirdy said re: hormones. Aside from that, daughters bring a special joy to your life & heart

Well I am in big trouble if that's true...I have 2 girls and possibly one more on the way. GOD help me through the teenage yrs.... that's all I can do is pray

I remember time of not liking my mother, but now as a mother I see exactly why she did what she did.
