and its a boy!!!
DH and I are both completely thrilled (we were both hoping for a boy, but would have been happy either way). Today is DH's birthday, so this was a great day for him.

His name is Henry Cooper, and he is perfect! He was wiggling and dancing, and he wasn't shy at all! Spread his little legs immediately so we could see! I even knew what I was looking at before the u/s tech told us!
He even waved at us!

It was a wonderful experience, and I'm really glad we did it. We are having a UP/UC, so this was the first time we got to hear his (perfect) heartbeat, too. I am so glad we chose to have this u/s!

Congratulations!!! I remember the awe of that first ultrasound, and I can't wait for my first one next Monday! Isn't it just magical to see him moving around, to know that this is your little one moving and growing! I just remember with DS the silence that DH and I sat in, holding hands and watching that monitor. Little boys are SUPER!

Ohhhh, how sweet!

I get to go next thursday for an ultrasound and I'm so excited with anitcipation! Anyone who says an ultrasound ruins the surprise of finding out you have a healthy baby and the gender is on crack.

It is just as much a joyful, fun and exciting surprise you get to see your little one in the dark womb! Such a blessing!

Congratulations on the boy!!
We get to see our little one tomorrow afternoon and I seriously CANNOT WAIT to see this little one... I completely agree with Danielle that the U/S doesn't ruin a single thing. In fact, I think it will help me connect even more with this one when I can use the name and the correct gender when talking to him/her.

Thanks so much ladies!

I am so happy to be able to call him by name, and his correct gender. I already feel more connected to him than I did before (first time mama here) and its wonderful!

Bliss- I LOVE Henry Foster- that is great!
