labia and butt. Yes, you read that correctly. My labia is especially sore and hurts to walk. I am still bleeding and have been wearing a pantyliner for about 1-1/2 weeks now. I am 3 weeks pp. This happened last time too, but not on my labia.

Anyone else experience(d) this before? If so, what did you do? I will probably put some lanolin on it.

No, and I have 2 of them. I haven't gone to CDing yet b/c I am still recovering and can't start doing a ton of laundry yet. So, I will probably not use them right now.

i'm a fan of a good soak in the tub and use Aquaphor after drying off.

you can get it at the drug store, and it's a great hypo-allergenic diaper and all around rash cream.

good luck!

All good suggestions. I have to second the cloth pads when you can do it. I have an allergy to some of the sposie pads and get the same problem. Lots of "air time" even if it means I have to wash up my dress/nightgown later.

This happened to me and it was brutal. I nth the suggestion of cloth pads and sleeping on chux pads or a dark towel without panties. I used a lot of witch hazel and salves and sprays at the beginning, and while they felt good, I think the moisture slowed the healing process.

I know, me too!

Surprisingly, the next day it was gone. I put lanolin on it and it definitely worked.
Thanks everyone!

Since so many mamas suggested it, what brand or type of cloth mama pads is everyone using? Or if the are WAHMs, what material are tehy made of? I'm thinking of investing in some cloth mama pads for when my period does return (please stay away for a long time though!).

Sorry for the threadjack!
