I just got some milk kefir grains from a friend. I had some a while back but I killed them so I'm starting over. My new ones are very efficient. They make the milk into a semi solid blob of kefir almost overnight. I already gave some away and I've only had them a week or so. Is it ok to let them work so fast or should I be putting them in more milk. I don't want the little guys to be hungry. However, I do like the resulting kefir. I've been straining it into cheese and whey and it's very cool!
Thanks for any advice or knowledge you can pass on!

Or less grains, you can eat them too!

Whiz about a teaspoon in a blender with milk/cream, raw cacao powder and healthy sweetener of choice. Chocolate pudding shake.
