DD is 8 wks old and I had only had the chance to nurse at LLL, NINO, and my car (b/c it was the place w/ a seat! before driving home), and at my house and IL's, w/ folks around... but this week I NIPed at a little family restaurant(w/ my family) and a borders (all alone)! It wasn't bad, either, since I don't really care who sees what-- it was only tricky to try to remember to maaybe not flash my whole book like at home

b/c I can do it with my shirt near my boob a little

So I just wanted to say thanks for helping to maake it so easy for me, by utterly normalizing it in my mind!

My husband manages a Borders. They have a company policy supporting nursing mamas in the employee handbook. I like to go in and test his employees.

Congrats to you!!! I just spent 2 weeks in Montana with my 2 mo old and did a lot of NIPing. I was so proud of myself. With dd1 i was embarassed to NIP

I really have become passionate about bfing/NIPing etc ( education is power). When we were at yellowstone I finally got the hang of nursing in the Mei tai. I was so excited I made Dp take a million pics of me nursing and walking the trails by old faithful. I felt giddy just like a little kid
