Have you recently discovered something really awesome that you never thought would be good/cool/fun before?

My friend owns a coffee shop and she just turned me on to cinnamon in my coffee. It is sooooo good and I can't believe I had never tried it before. I like cinnamon, and I like coffee, so it's a perfect combo!

What have you discovered?

cinnamon in coffee sounds good! I used to put in cocoa and heavy whipping cream....really rich but yummy.

Playstation We got Little Big Planet for Christmas, because it's a 4-person game and we could all play together. I sort of begrudgingly went along with it, thinking I could suffer through since everyone else would like it. Yeah... I was turning the game on again after the kids were in bed and playing it by myself... that was totally out of left field, I didn't even like video games when I was a kid! We finished the game though, so I'm done now.

Putting potato chips on sandwiches. Not like PBJ sandwiches, but meat-veggie-mustard uber-awesome sandwiches. They are made uber-awesome-er if you throw a few potato chips on each bite.

Oooh! I'm going to try that cinnamon in my coffee. I recently read that 1/2 teaspoon per day of cinnamon was good for (heart health? something else? I don't remember) so I will for sure give that one a whirl.

I also like plain chips with ketchup on occasion.

I can make my own iced coffee at home. It's just as good as having it "out" but so much cheaper!

I discovered that a little bit of toothpaste on a damp face cloth gets hairdye off skin really well.

I also discovered that if your 2yo sticks a toy car up you car exhaust pipe, you can just turn the car on and the toy car flies right out!

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I discovered that coffee, milk, and a little pure maple syrup, on ice, makes just about the best summer morning beverage available. And at a fraction of the cost of a froofy coffee shop drink. And I don't have to, you know, get dressed.

Mmm, I even like them plain in between some bread. The best are French bread roll and plain lay's potato chips. Crunchy heaven. Do you also 'smoosh' it a little so you can add more chips?

I found that if I brew one cup of tea (any kind) and let it sit for around 5-10 minutes, then sweeten a bit and dump it in my ginormous 32 ounce cups from Dh's previous slushy addiction with some ice and water, I have instant sweet tea.

And thanks to being pregnant in the summer, I found that the fastest way to feel cool is to get my hair sopping wet. That plus a cold washcloth on the back of my neck works just as well as a/c. Or if I can't do that (out and about) just holding my wrists under cold running water does the trick.

I have tried the cinnamon in coffee before. I like it even better with some cocoa powder added.

I love hot sauce (specifically the stuff you see at Chinese restaurants... has a rooster on it so we call it c**k sauce) on my pizza.

2 things - first, homemade yogurt - SO good for plain yogurt

secondly, putting fruit in your own yogurt instead of buying yogurt with it already in there - SO much better.

Oh, AND - "homemade" pizza dough - there is this instant pizza dough yeast and it's SO good!
