and I am stunned. I am a petite person when not pregnant (5'3" and a size 2-4), but with DD1 I gained 60lbs and was absolutely huge. With this pregnancy think I have gained about 30lbs at 32+ weeks (thank you very much swelling and never ending appetite). I tend to carry WAY out front.

So, took out the tape measure and I kid you not......my belly at the largest circumfrence is almost 42 inches!!!! OMG, I think I am a total freak!!!! No wonder my shirts are no longer covering my belly. Just in total shock here....

I'm measuring at about 38 inches at 32 weeks, and since I'm a little taller (5'6"), I'd say our bellies are probably growing at about the same rate.

I've always heard that the shorter you are, the further out front you'll carry. Which makes sense.

I guess we just need tunics or something

at 25 weeks my fundal height was just 29cm

but as for circumference mine measured 45 inches around at 27 weeks!

the circumference is always a way bigger number than fundal height which is a bit more in line with your weeks along, so make sure you are comparing apples to apples

I think the number just really astounded me....I seriously look like I swallowed a tic-tac! Glad to hear I am not the only one with a huge tummy :) I know it doesn't mean much, other than I have grown a lot.

I don't know what my fundal height is as my doc and midwife don't measure that (she will palpate with her hands, but no actual tape measure). I did measure fundal height on me own somewhere around 26 weeks or so and measured a bit ahead, but obviously nothing of concern.

Truly just amazed that our bodies can do this!!!

Same here.

I'm just astounded at how much it has changed already, knowing that it will change even more in these last 8 weeks.
