and they were perfectly fine. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up"><br><br>
They were the old wool and they do not look as though they had shrunk at all, and I use very hot water.<br><br>
But, somebody is going to hear about my wool going through the washer in this house. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/angry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="angry">

Funny thing is that I was taking pics of my stash today and I mentioned that I was missing a cover. I got some raised eyebrows, "You're missing a cover?"<br><br>
Hmmm.

another reason I LOVE the old style covers! according to Tiff they are made prefelted, or non felting(cant remember which) and will never felt no matter what, and I totally believe it after all the stuff Ive put ours through!<br><br>
you were lucky with that one!

I used to wash my older style ones in the washer. It was warm water gentle cycle but they never shrunk a bit.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

I have to say that I was holding my breathe too as I opened this thread! So glad they are ok, in my house no one touches wool but me. The price is pretty high around here if you mess with the wool. :LOL

Whew!! I'm sooo glad they are o.k. And I agree w/ Mrs. Dimples...don't be afraid to lay the smack down so they know how precious wool is...'cuz what if it had been a Kiwi Pie instead of the already felted wool! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/scared.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="scared"><br><br>
ETA: Gorgeous stash, mama!! I'm lovin' all the BBB!! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love">
