I spent Feb. and March decluttering and had 10+ boxes filled just sitting in the basement, waiting to go to Goodwill or the like. I kept putting it off and putting it off...adding more stuff here and there and a couple more weeks go by and what do ya know..I get a flyer in the mail from the Salvation Army. "We need your stuff! If you have any clothes or household items to get rid just set them on your curb before 8am on April 18th and we'll pick them up for you!"

How sweet is that?!!!

Isn't it great?! I just got a call from Lupus Foundation the other day and they are picking up tomorrow morning. Love it!

Isn't that great? They do pick-up around here every other month and it's been great for my decluttering. They will accept large furniture if you call in advance and let them know what it is, and I've been able to get rid of a couch and several end tables/coffee tables and dressers this way.

Around here the Salvation Army will schedule a pick up anytime you want. It's especially nice if you have a clothing swap/naked lady party and have lots of clothes left over to donate. They'll take it all. If we are just dropping off a few boxes I'll usally have DH just take it over, but it is so nice know that service is available.

LOVE the Salvation Army.

The Vietnam Vets also make a monthly stop around here. It's so great to leave the house with bags and boxes on the porch and to come home to it being GONE! WooHOO!

Wow, wonderful!

I could get rid of so much more if I could get someone to come and pick it up (and freecycle has been a bust and a major hassle in the past)
