... because i can think of little else as heavenly as the smell of my daughter's milky, sweet breath. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love">

Oh, I totally know what you mean! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"> When my son was tiny, he would cry and when his mouth was open I would stick my nose right up close to it because his breath just smelled SO good. I felt bad for thinking such a happy thought when he was upset, but I just couldn't help it. I was so sad when that smell went away, I felt like that was one of the first "baby" things to end...

Mmmm. I love that smell, too. Glad I'm not the only one with my nose in my baby's mouth all the time. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">

Brooke, your baby is only 4 days older than mine! She still has that smell? My babe's mouth hasn't smelled like that in months! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/mecry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="crying">

It might be because my DD still hasn't started on solids yet. (Not for lack of trying - she rejects them completely, except for an occasional spoon of soup or bite of bread.)

Glad I'm not the only baby-breath smelling freak out there.<br>

PS- Nikki is 15-months-old and still has the sweatest baby breath...

I love it too! My child is on solids now, but right after he nurses, and when he wakes up in the morning, I'm in heaven!<br><br>
I'm always sniffing his face, though, I think that he just smells so good anyways, like a puppy, sort of, only nicer.

Ah, I miss that smell, and can't wait for it with the next baby.<br><br>
My daughter is a banana addict (she'd seriously eat an entire bunch non-stop if we didn't limit her), so that's what her breath smells like these days. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">
