2 ppl have told me this week that they would CD but they don't like how bulky cds are.

I try to explain that yes they are bulkier than disposables b/c you need enough fabric to absorb the urine. It is funny to me though b/c I

big diaper butts!!!!!! They are so soft and fluffy!!!

And cds really aren't that bulky compared to sposies when you think about it... Many ppl who use sposies let their kids wear one diaper until it becomes a gel buldging mess that hangs down past their baby's knees

(I know you've seen it). Ughhhh, makes me sick just thinking about it.

I would much rather have a fun cloth diaper on my baby's bum, even if it is a tad thicker than sposies.

My family was in stitches last time we got together, because Sprogly was running around with his tight stretchy Old Navy jammies over his CD, and everyone was calling him "bubble butt." Well, after all, it was his night-time diaper.

LOL.. We call it "Diaper Butt"! I also think it's adorable. And I noticed the same thing when I put a (gasp!) sposie on Samantha (11 wks). It wasn't all that much trimmer!!

big cd butts too! One of my favorite things to do is "spank" (and by "spank" I mean lovingly pat) my DS's bubble butt and sing, "spank a butt, spank a butt, spank a butt!" He thinks it's hilarious.

I was just at a cook-out on saturday and one of my friends left his 2 year old in a sposie for hours. I told him his kid had "plumber crack" and he needed to change her. I eventually did it when I noticed she was poopy.

: That sposie weighed like 3 lbs.

uke It was bulkier than most of my DS's diapers by the time I got it off of her.

You know what's funny though? I don't even realize how cute and fluffy my children's bums are until I hold a baby wearing a sposie! It's weird to be able to feel the baby's actual butt against my arm!!!

Thanks but no thanks....I'll take my fluffy squishiness of a CD'd bum any day! I love it!

yes, I much prefer ds's cloth diaper 'booty'. i loved it when he was in a dancing phase and he'd hang on to anything and shake his giant CD booty.

and it makes for such soft landings as well!

big cd'd butts too!I really don't give a darn for trimness except under clothes, which is why I like VB's. They are perfect.
Two women I know really well have actually said of dd twice-(while wearing trim dipes and wool)"Dang, she's got a butt on her"They said the EXACT same thing.I had to prove to them it is only her diaper!She is a pretty slender 2 year old.

And Josiah can waddle just fine in his night time diaper-even in all it's 3 doubler added thickness

Oh crap Spark, that's killing me!!!!!!!! I hope I don't wake up James laughing!!

I have always had a secret love affair with that song, and now, it's got new meaning. Too funny. Aah, as always, thanks for the laugh.

And on the topic of those fluffy booties....one of our neighbors just had a baby a few months ago and they are cd'ing! I didn't even realize until dd told me she saw them hanging on the clothes line! I was talking to the husband about it and he mentioned thinking her big cloth covered booty was just the cutest thing he'd ever seen! lol

My new pastor and his wife came over Friday night and after I changed D into her pj's and night time diaper they were saying how cute she was and that she was packin!! Very positive comments!!! They were even interested in seeing the cloth diapers and asking how much money they saved us!!

I lovingly refered to DD as "N-Lo" when she's in her night time dipe!!!
