I have been struggling to wear my baby due to back and shoulder pain. I tried a ring sling but found it tricky to adjust and I had pain in my shoulder. One of the wonderful members here pointed me to www.mamatoto.org and I easily made my own wrap and I love it!!!! It only cost me $13 in fabric. I'm wearing her in the front cross carry. I wore her for 6 hours yesterday with no pain at all. She felt light as a feather. I'm in love with my wrap! I recently bought some fabric to make a wrap and it is glorious indeed! I think on the wrap I made it could be just a touch longer, but I'll know that for the next one I make! I have only done the front cross carry as well... just haven't taken the time to read up on the other carries yet, but I'm so excited about the versatility of it all!

Hooray for you and wrap love

I LOVE my homemade wrap as well! The only thing you have to watch out for is that soon you might develop another addiction--fabric just so that you can have a wrap to match every occasion, LOL!
