There has been a lot up in the air regarding my due date. A pretty large margin of error of about 4 weeks. At my appointment with my midwife yesterday I began to think I may be on the earlier end of that 4 week due date. So that would put me a couple of weeks into May! Basically I'm either 20 weeks or 16 weeks. I had spotting that was either a period or implantation bleeding. My periods are never spotty. Always heavy and 5 or so days. So if I say that bleeding was my period, I'm 16 weeks. If I say it was implantation spotting....I'm 20 weeks. I'm beginning to think 16 weeks for a few reasons:

1. I haven't felt movement. Tiny kicks a little bit, but barely noticeable if any. By 18 or so weeks with DD, I felt KICKS.

2. My morning sickness was still going strong into last week. It's gotten better this week so far.

3. Thinking I was 20 weeks the midwife measured my uterus and I came up measuring a lot smaller.

4. Really late BFP. I was 8 weeks before I got a positive. Granted I went about 20 days without testing. But for a week after that spotting I tested with all BFNs.

So I may need to start hanging here instead of the April DDC. Gosh this is just so confusing! Lots of people just tell me to go with 16 weeks so I don't mentally break down when I go 4 weeks "overdue"

Welcome . I agree that it's good to fix on the later date. It will probably make things a lot easier when the time comes .

That's for sure! It's tough to figure out. As I said in the April DDC, I'm riding the DDC line. :

I had a similar thing with dd2. I got pregnant right after a miscarriage. The midwife just automatically calculated from the m/c bleeding. I went in tor my u/s at 21 weeks, only to be told I was only 17. For me, with all the emotional stuff from the m/c it was very disappointing to be told I was a whole month behind what we thought. But it turned out great!

We love new faces! I never thought it was that important to be in the exact right DDC anyway, as long as you have somewhere to belong, bond & comiserate.
