Since September, I've been ill with first pneumonia, then asthmatic bronchitis. I feel much better, but still not 100%. For the most part, while I've been sick, we've been using sposies b/c I cannot bear 3 extra loads of laundry a week.

I have so many beautiful diapers here (firefly, SOS, elbeebaby and more) as well as beautiful covers (firefly, freshies, Kool Sheep and more) and I'm just in a diapering funk

I hate sposies and
our cloth but I just can't get back into the swing of things.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Take the sposies to the nearest shelter or goodwill collection center, and PUT A CLOTH DIAPER ON THAT BABY!! DO IT! Get off your butt and DO IT DO IT DO IT!!

sposies=bad for maggie

Mommy's feeling better now, let's get with the program!

*the above was a public service announcement from the STFU and just do it organization.

ETA: I sincerely hope you're feeling better mama!

I don't have a stash like that! But if I did you better believe I wouldn't let it get "dusty"!!!! Toss those sposies out the window! But on one of those purrty dipes and get on with life!

BTW - sorry to hear you are sick. I have Asthmatic Bronchitis at least 2x per year

Sposies: OUT! GO! GET THEE BEHIND ME! (no pun intended :LOL)

Sposie fumes can't possibly be good for respiratory health!

Make DH a 'How To Wash The Diapers' cheat sheet if you don't feel like washin, slap an SOS on that pretty baby, and GO GO GO!

Chris! It's only October, which means you haven't had much time at all to recover from pneumonia, and then to have bronchitis, too . . .ay, give yourself a break!

Maybe, to start yourself off, you can use cloth so that you only have one extra load per week. Don't do full time yet-- just ease into it. When you feel better with the first extra load, keep building from there until you have 100% of your energy back. The important thing is to let your guilt go, because it's only draining your energy. Save your energy for getting better!

I agree, ease yourself back into cd's, maybe just at home during days for a few weeks. Can your girls help a bit more? My 15 mo love to hand me diapers to fold, it's great quality time for us both. Also is there some way to streamline your routine? Like maybe just put clean diapers straight from the dryer to a handy basket instead of folding and sorting?

iyiiiiii!!!!! I got pneumonia when ds was 19 mo old...I could not BELIEVE how long it took to get rid of it. I felt so horribly horribly drained for many weeks. So cut yourself some slack....once your energy is back you will get back to cloth (since you obviously love it and have some great dipes).

take super good care of yourself....
