My 2 year old has been taking her diaper off *all* the time!!

Sometimes, it's not just wet either, if you get my meaning!!

We use cloth diapers -- I've tried pinning them -- I've tried velco covers -- nothing helps!

We also bought disposables, but she can get those off even faster! I even bought the pull-up kind, but she can pull those right down!

I've tried using this time to potty train her, but it doesn't seem to be making much of an impact! I will say that 99% of the time, when she takes her diaper off, it's either wet or soiled.

Does *anyone* have any ideas?? My carpet & furniture will thank you!!!

we have this problem with naptime at dcp. I sewed up a little sleeper, with the zipper in back.

other ideas would be to continue to talk about pottying maybe try putting her on the potty whenever you go

whenever she takes her dipes off put her on potty

let her run naked outside with long t shirt for a little modesty.

go cold turkey -- get some panties and let her wear them see how pottying goes.

how frustrating!

Hmmm. . . have you heard of "elimination communication"? You would be considered a late starter, but it might solve your problem - if you knew when she peed/pooped, at least, you could get her diaper off before she does!

I do it and I haven't had ds in a "poopy" diaper very often at all - and when I have, I've known about it within 3 minutes.

Good Luck!
