***UPDATE IN POST #11***

I''m 40 weeks 2 days today. Last Wednesday, I started having regular contractions that I thought might turn into labor. Nope, they just continued for days, minorly uncomfortable, but not painful. Then last night, I started getting "real" contractions around 7pm. I did the smart thing and laid down and slept until about 10pm, when I felt like I couldn't sleep through them anymore. Came downstairs, cleaned up and ate some food with my husband, hung out until about 1am, when the contractions were still 5-7 minutes apart, and not really that bad (I could still kind of talk through them). I ended up falling asleep around 2am and sleeping pretty well (for having contractions every few minutes!). I woke up with my son at 7am, and had breakfast.

Now it's almost 10:30am, contractions are still 5ish minutes apart, intense, but I'm still not calling the midwife, because I know it could be awhile. We went to the park and walked for an hour this morning, which really just made me tired (although it was nice to spend the time as a family).

Now I'm starting to get discouraged. When will this baby come?? Obviously I can't be pregnant or in labor forever, but ughhh. My husband is supposed to have class today, which I'm sure he'll miss, but I'm not sure I'll have the baby! It could be another day or longer and I just feel so depressed. I thought because this is my second birth it would go quicker and I'd go sooner, but my son came 3 days early and I don't remember having all this pre-labor.

I just want my baby here now!

Send me some good labor vibes, I need them
