i need prefold trimming instructions...

I'm gonna have a tailor friend of mine experiment with a couple prefolds for me, and I need the exact instructions on how to trim and add the excess to the soaker portion. I truly hope that this will make her prefolds less bulky (she's so skinny

: ) and look nice in a cover, and that I'll be able to duplicate it when i get my sewing machine for christmas.

Exactly how much would one trim off of the premium ubcpf? (the really long ones with blue serging)

Man, I have to fold down the front and back on those! I don't use them because of this, and would love to go back to using them with my snappi, but she grew out of the infant ones.

It's really up to you how much you want to trim off. I left about 15" on the main portion of the diapers so they fit in my medium wraps well. My premium prefolds ranged in length, but I cut anywhere from 3-5" off.
