I have bought from Cottom Babies and GMD. I'm happy with both. Am I missing out on an amazing prefold somewhere else? I'm guessing I'll be needing toddler size, she's almost 11 months old.

Are you interested in trying bamboo prefolds? I never really like prefolds until I found bamboo. We go coverless a lot and with the regular prefolds she was always leaving wet spots, with bamboo I've never had that problem. They absorb so well and are soooo soft and quishy. I've tried several different kinds and I love them all!
I haven't tried all of these and one of my favorite stores (La Petite Le Pin) isn't open anymore, but here are a couple of sites to check out.

http://hyenacart.com/snipzandsnailz/index.php

http://hyenacart.com/pbellie/

http://hyenacart.com/BagshotRowBamboo/

http://hyenacart.com/bubblebuttdiapers/

http://hyenacart.com/Clothdiapermama/

I wouldn't go with toddler size, those things are HUGE!! My dd is a peanut at 4 yrs old, but toddlers would still be too big for her! She is about 37 lbs.

Talk to me about bamboo. I've never tired it. It's more absorbant? How about the price? ( I haven't looked on the links you've provided yet). I'll have to check it out, thanks!

ETA: I'm just realizing that they seem to be flats only, am I right? They're mighty expensive, too. I'm not sure if I can splurge on them now.

Oops, I forgot to check and make sure that they were all prefolds and not preflats. I know the first link is prefolds. The preflats are the same size as a prefold, just without the thick middle layer. I usually have to use a doubler with those. They are expensive, so most of the ones I have are seconds or testers. I found that they do absorb a great deal better then my regular Indian and chinese prefolds. When I only had one or two I saved them to use when we went out because I never had to worry about them leaking and my regular prefolds always would.
