With all the recent talk of not using restrooms to nurse in lately, this just struck me funny.....

Last night, we arrived home late. DD, almost 4, was super tired and I was hoping to just transfer her from the van straight to bed, but alas, she half way awoke on the journey into the house. Well, I thought, I really should get her to try to pee before putting her to bed. It has been a while and she might wet the bed if I don't try.

She really didn't want to cooperate, so finally, I bribed her, "I'll let you nurse while you try to pee." She reluctantly agreed and I sat her on the toilet. And yes, I did nurse her there, kneeling before the porcelain throne and breastfeeding my princess.

So there you have it; a lactivist admitting that she has nursed in the restroom. LOL!

Oh, yeah, that is the ONLY restroom I've nursed in though!

Thank God for slings!

I've nursed in the restroom... but only at home! Sometimes it's me that has to pee, but this morning I had to nurse DS while he pottied or I would have had a wet lap (EC).

I did a similar thing with my mum, when she was having a bath or on the toilet, i would trap her, talk to her about my day, do my homework, read her books lol. Even at 23, i do it to my dh now

I just had this happen last week. I was struck with a short bout of food poisoning. Well, I was up for a couple hours one night and on the throne for much of it. Anna wakes up and needs momma, so....I nursed and rocked her back to sleep in the dark on the pot. I couldn't imagine what I would have done if she was ff.

My dh's roommate in college had a cat who liked to stand between their legs while they peed. According to him it was hard to not hit him on the head at times......

Then there was our all black cat who liked to sit on the toilet seat and drink out of the toilet.........talk about a surprise on your midnight bathroom run! Made sure I turned on the lights after that!!
