I just wanted to update all, who have been following my story since 12/05. I started chemo this am.

I have been able to nurse my ds to 1yr & 2 days old. When I told him last night that we won't be able to nurse anymore & that he is a big boy and doesn't need my milk, he pulled off and started clapping...

I think he was applauding the hard work I put in for him... It really puts a smile in my heart, knowing I could get him this far.

Congratulations for making it to a year and best of luck with your chemo!!!! You're a wonderful mommy and your son is a very lucky little boy!!

It is wonderful that you were able to make it to a year and that he's taking the transistion so well. Thank you for sharing your experiences. I can't even begin to imagine how difficult this has been for you and you're only starting on your journey to recovering your own health.

I hope that chemo kicks those cancer cells right out of you

without kicking you too much in the process.
