...at a DD site.

I was visiting a Danish DD site called Libero.dk because my son likes to play their games.

Well, in the site they have a quiz about DD with a funny little lion and my son wanted me to take it so he could see this lion.

Well, one of the questions were:
Q. "How are Libero diapers good for the environment?"
A. "They are good for the environment because you change them seldom"

Can you believe that? What a "great" argument

I cannot believe how long some mommas keep their child in the same sposie. I remember hearing some VERY GOOD mommas say, "I leave them in the diaper until they poop. Those things are soooo absorbant and dry." YUCK!!!!

But, I must admit that I did not know any better with my first baby. I now quickly educate those mommas about the harmful chemicals in sposies.

Well at a pinch, Eliza can go through the night in a Happy Heinys with one Joeybunz or HH stuffin. So I know they are very absorbent.

Yet I found myself uneasy on Sunday when we went out on a family expedition and she'd been in the same nappy for three hours (we had no stop for a meal or anything, therefore no logical time for a change). Yet when we got back to the car after our long long (oh, so long with 2 whining boys) walk, I changed her in the back of the car, MIL said "why are you changing her, she's not dirty" Sigh, why even bother explaining?

I was simply thinking, she must be starting to feel a little hot and sticky now - yet true to form, good old HH"s had kept her little bum quite dry.

I used to nanny for a family & the mother's strict instructions were to never change the babies unless they had pooped cause the diapers cost too much money!!
Meanwhile she had a nanny & didn't work!
To gross you out even further, she only bathed her kids once a week!! I would sneak them baths mid week....ewwwwwww
