Its been almost 3 months since dh and I split up. My grandpa told me I could rent my uncle's old trailor from him because I really needed a place to stay and had very little money. Now we are living there and it completely sucks. We have fleas so bad that I can't even take my kids there because they jump on you the second you walk in the door, we also have a mouse, the electricity surges so much that it caused my brand new dryer's motor to bmess up, and the hot water heater doesn't work. Right now I am spending the night at my mom's house because things are so bad at my house. I don't have the money to rent a decent apartment around here, and I can't very well continue to live in the place we are currently in. DH lost his job, so he can't even send cs, and I don't know what to do. i get a little over $600 a month from SSI and CS for my son, so I haven't had to start working yet, but it looks like I don't have a choice anymore the problem is, I don't know who will watch my kids, my dd has special needs, so I really don't feel comfortable leaving her in daycare. Ideally I could get a family member to keep them, but I don't know how well that would work out. I never really realized how good things were finiancially until dh and I split. Amyway, thats all. This realy sucks.
