A positive update! Yay!

I dropped off ds at the park on Saturday for X's 3 hour visitation, and I had packed a bag for ds with diapers, wipes, a clean outfit, and a snack. My providing these things has been a source of angst between x and me (I think x should provide for ds's needs during his parenting time; X thinks that is what the c/s is for, so he shouldn't have to provide anything).

Well, when I picked ds up, X had purchased a guitar (!) for ds, who is crazy about guitars. I thought that was insightful of X (even though I don't really like the idea of showering kids with toys/gifts to win affection). I put ds's bag in my car, and drove off. When I got home, I started cleaning out the bag, and I noticed X had put 3 diapers and a brand new unopened container of wipes in the bag. Woa! That's huge mamas!!

I couldn't be more pleased that X is obviously making an effort. After all the bs we've been through together, I am glad that he is thinking of ds. YAY!!

Yeah, I had tried that before
and it caused so much ugliness that I decided to be the bigger person and just provide for my son. That is why the whole diaper/wipe thing this weekend was such a huge deal.
