Well, mostly... I'm killing time in the Lansing airport waiting for my flight home. But I'm not in labor, so the chances of delivering a baby in the next couple of hours are slim. And I also did NOT have my ankles swell up to 3 times their normal size, or get a DVT and die of a pulmonary embolism.

On the other hand, I can't think of a lot of things less fun than sitting in on a very important meeting while losing big chunks of your plug. Ewwww.... slimy!

Anyway. I wish we had a smiley for *enormous sigh of relief*. I feel like now that I have this over I can finally start to throttle down my responsibilities at work and get ready for this baby without having a huge pain in the ass hanging over my head!

Welcome home! Glad you and the baby made it (mostly) intact....just consider the mucus plug a little parting gift you left behind!

I'll be feeling that same sigh of relief once I make it through this weekend....we have a weekend-long church thing, then I have a mw appt on Monday, and we really need to spend Monday evening doing a major grocery shopping/stocking the pantry trip. If I can make it through that, then from Tuesday on is smooth sailing! Although it would be somewhat easier if the baby waits until the 10th, since my mom will be here. But I'm not gonna argue about a couple days--just get me through this weekend!

Congrats! I know what a relief that is!!! As someone who's traveled on business a lot with both pregnancies (though thank god with this one MW cut me off 2 weeks ago) I can say, "Good for you!" It is not fun or easy. Glad it's almost over.

I'm impressed, I think I'd have trouble traveling gracefully now. You should scratch the meeting off your to-do list with a flaming pen.

You were in my town and didn't stop by?!?

Glad your trip went well, though. I hate driving more than 20 minutes, I can't imagine flying at this point!

Wow, that's great! I can't imagine having to fly right now either. I did it at 27 weeks, and that was enough.

I hope you are able to start winding things down at work. I am SO over work right now. I can't take it anymore! My mind and my body do not want to be here, but I'm going to have to work up until the end.

You are an inspiration!
