I totally feel like I could go into labor any day now. I'm nesting/cleaning out my house and office like a crazy person. Baby moved into position and seems perfectly content to stay there with just tight little wiggles. And I keep having visions of my water breaking... just about everywhere I go.<br><br>
I'm 34 weeks today. It just seems waaaay to early to be feeling this way. Is anyone else starting to have feeling of imminent birth? Or am I a total nutjob? I'll probably go 42 weeks... hahaha

Nope maybe you'll go into labor at 37 or 38 weeks? I wish I'd get that rush of cleaning energy, my house needs it big time!!!

You're not alone! This 3-day weekend is going to mean a lot of baby preparation, cleaning carpets, installing a second closet rod in the nursery, washing car seat, swing and other covers, cleaning out closets, getting sheets and clothes washed and ready to go, packing/planning a hospital bag, printing out birth plans, etc etc etc.<br><br>
This pregnancy has flown by compared to my first! I am getting into panic mode <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
I just keep thinking that my mom delivered my brother 6 weeks early which would mean I would have a baby in a week!!!!!! Of course, I want him to stay inside and keep cooking, but you just never know . . .

I have been like that for the past 2 weeks or so. <i>Serious</i> nesting mode. You would think I was due next week!<br><br>
My goal is all the diapers and knitted items doen by FEB. And I am normally a last minute girl.<br><br>
I am ordering things from co-ops and washign stuff, and getting everything ready just in case. I think it is because I have so much to do!

I mostly just never want to leave the house. I feel unsettled anywhere but at home. DH has been keeping it very clean, too, which makes it very peaceful and comfortable.<br><br>
I can't stop touching the baby things. I take the clothes out of the dresser and smell them. I have had to stop myself from diapering the cats on more than one occasion.<br><br>
I really think I'm almost mentally there.

I find myself wanting to hide away too. I think it is instinctual, and very healthy<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> We need time to finish things, have calm, and create an environment that is both peaceful and welcoming. If all those things can co-exist.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> remind me not to stress when I am up at 2 am sewing diapers!<br><br>
I diaper baby dolls. I am not ashamed.

and I too LOOOOOOVE the baby clothes!!!! Unfortunately I get waaaay too many ctx if I so much as do the dishes... so DH is keeping things pretty clean but mentally I have a mile long list of little things to do as soon as it's safe to get up and ignore the ctx!! At 34w if my cervix is still OK I think I'll be able go crazy nesting! 2.5 weeks left!

Oh yeah, my cat has worn many baby outfits during my pregnancies. She HATES it! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br>
And I've been definitely nesting, also. It's way to early but I figure I should strike while the iron's hot. I cleaned out my closet the other day and now I'm getting ready for a big dinner party we're having next weekend.

I've been in SERIOUS nesting mode this entire pregnancy. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> And fatigue is setting in lately so - it's frusterating...and I make DH clean! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up">

I'm there. This is baby #4 for me. Got about 9 weeks to go, and sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy. I don't want to leave the house, either. And I just washed all the newborn clothes for the first time on Saturday. I'm saying for the first time because I'm pretty sure I'll be washing them again before baby pea makes her appearance. Especially if we get some nice warm weather before she comes, and I could line dry outside.
