while pregnant i lurked on this board occasionaly and played with the idea of ECing my baby, but i didnt expect her to demand it-
Lucca was born on may 21st and right from the start did not like being wet or dirty. i am using cloth and around the house no covers. it always goes like this- she starts skirming and fussing and ill notice a little bit of wet, ao i take her to the changing table, open her diaper and she lets out some more fuss and then a big cry and pees... then i started to try to help her, by patting her with a dry corner of the diaper, which now makes her pee. sometimes (maybe 1/2 the time?) ill catch a poop this way too!. at night i know she needs to go because she'll root but not latch on. i open her diaper and it is usually already wet but then she pees alot, and usually poops! now shes at about 8 out of 10 diaper changes that she'll pee when i pat her, and she dosnt scream anymore just makes this "maw" sound...so i know its not over a potty, but is this EC?
its so funny to me because i CDed my son, but he couldnt care less if he was wet , ever! and i never noticed any signals from him either! weird..
