It has happened to me.. I'd say give it another week and a half (the post office has been known to be up to 3 weeks with me) and then talk to the seller about it some (if you haven't already).

Only twice has a package been lost that was headed to me. The first time it was on the Trading Post and the seller did not offer to re-imburse me the money or even half. However, a month or two later she wanted to buy something from me and over compensated me for that because of the lost so it was made up for in the end.

The second time I bought something from a WAHM and it never arrived (she had delivery confirmation). She refunded me the money and told me to let her know if it ever showed up and I could send the product back to her (very nice). To this day it still hasn't arrived.

Soo... my next question is was it from a WAHM or from the TP/Ebay?

I had a package of yarn from LTK sent to me Priority, and it took over two weeks for the package to finally reach me. No fault on Theresa's part at all! I guess the package got lost on a truck or something.

I'm in the same boat. I bought from a WAHM and she only lives about an hour away. Now weeks later after being told it was shipped, it is not here. But this is VA. Last time I bought from her, she mailed it parcel post.

Just happened to me, too. The seller was from the TP, but is also an MDC WAHM...and she did compensate me, which I felt very bad about. It was not necessary, but very sweet of her to do.

I feel lucky that this was the first fluffy package that has ever been lost, and I have received dozens....

Sometimes packages go strange places before they arrive. I would call the P.O. and ask. I once had a package go way out of the way before it came back..sometimes the trucks do that.

I'm waiting on a package from a WAHM that was shipped 5/12 and hasn't arrived yet...but I live in Canada so who knows. Everything else shipped to me that day (yes quite a few things ) arrived a week later...But we'll just wait and see. Does worry me a little though!
But ditto on the give it some time - the PO does some odd things when routing mail.

Good question. I've got fluffy mail that I had sent to a friend that never arrived. It was from the TP. I'm sure it was sent, but I was SOOOO bummed that it was for a friend and never arrived... The seller has been really hard to get in touch with about it, too. I think I'm just out the money.

I've noticed that the mail has been painfully SSSSLLLLOOOOOWWWW. : First class has been taking 8-10 business days. It's crazy!

I have noticed that the PO is very slow lately too. And I've also noticed that things mailed instate seem to take longer then if they are going cross-country. I don't know why but it always seems to be the case.

I've never had anything actually lost but two of the dozens of parcels I've had have gone MIA for weeks or months at a time. My very first order came regular mail not airmail and took 5 months to get here. I'd ordered again in the meantime, so was kind of overstocked when it did show up one day.

Recently I ordered a big load of hemp contours that were supposed to come airmail. The lovely lady who made them did indeed send them airmail and had documentation to show that she did, but it was certainly lost somewhere. I never expected her to offer confirmation, it wasnt her fault in any way. The box arrived after 12 weeks. She had offered to make me some extra contours in another order I made which was lovely of her, but I did feel it my duty to let her know I'd received the first parcel in time to save her from going to the extra trouble.

Oh, and the box was NOT marked airmail when it arrived, so it was the PO's fault.

One day, I sent out over a dozen packages through the PO. Most went priority, and the postal clerk weighed them and calculated the postage with their high tech machines. A couple of weeks later, I started getting emails that people didn't get their packages. I had to re-make and re-send out about 10 orders... and wasn't too happy about this.

About 3 months later, the packages arrive in my mail, returned to me... with notes that I didn't pay enough postage on them!!!!!!!

I've also had a package send from a wahm in Canada that never arrived. It was sent back in Feb. She even sent it air, but it has never, to this day, arrived to me. (no, not you Kathleen... I've gotten every one of your beautiful packages!)

I've also had things take a month from the postage date to get to me. I think some wahms send media mail or the other snail mail, instead of first class. First class is not more than $0.50 more than snail.

So anyway... yes, I have had packages turn up missing. I've been frustrated by it, etc. But, I have also had packages sent first class and arrive to me the next day.

well, i'm glad i'm not the only one with this problem. this morning there was a package on my porch and i nearly fainted thinking it was the diapers, but alas, it was something for my DH. : i'm going to give it a few more days and then contact the seller, it was a WAHM, not from TP. i think in the future i am going to pay the extra bucks for priority mail...
