Anyone with any legal know how? For various reasons, it became clear to me that the attorney I was assigned through legal aid was not on board with helping me or really being an advocate for me. So it was decided that she would withdraw.

During one of our last communications, she was exchanging emails with the other party's attorney and with me, and I replied to her, privately, twice. One of the emails I sent specifically addressed some serious concerns that I have, and mentioned safety sensitive parenting plans, which is likely going to be a challenge where the other party is concerned. My former attorney included my two private replies to her in the email exchange with the other attorney, effectively passing on my concerns/intent to the other party's attorney.

Does anyone know if I have any recourse here? I mean, what's done is done, but I'd at least like to get my money back, or something. I'm thinking this was a significant error on her part. Ideas?

Call the bar association. Tell them what happened and that you'd like to file a complaint. She violated attorney client confidentiality it sounds like.

This. I would be livid. That sounds like a serious violation and I'd definitely complain to the bar.
