My son has been having spots off and on for nearly two weeks. Maybe it has been an allergic reaction to something. Maybe hives. Maybe whatever, But, the longer it goes on, it seem to look more and more like chicken pox. http://www.mothering.com/discussions...15#post4739815

Just a comment. A vent. Whatever. Maybe this is in the wrong forum.

This is certainly NOT the wrong forum. And after reading the whole thread, I think he might have the cp. No child is the same and no one can really say what is normal. Only how the average child shows symptoms. But they used to say cp is the one disease you can't get asymptomatic and guess what, they were wrong. So, anything is possible. IMO

I am now sure he has the chicken pox. Was intending to take him in to the doc. to get it confirmed, but we've all been so tired, and she said we could just check his titers later. Of course, maybe it won't show up.

Funny thing, though, I've gotten three little pimples that look suspiciously like poxes. I had a severe bout of chicken pox at the ripe age of 32 (that I recovered from just fine) that I would have assumed would have given me immunity.
