I think we're done

I just wrote "last nursing" on the calendar. While dd has been skipping here and there for the past year, this past month I can rarely remember her nursing at all. Normally, bedtime nursing was skipped when she went to bed with Dh and I just wasn't there. This past month I was there and she just didn't ask.
dd doesn't even want a party, she's not sad, more of indifferent, she says she just "doesn't need it" though she did say she'll remember this when I'm a grandma and she nursing her baby
So for all those that claim a child will nurse forever with CLW we're proof that it can end gently.
So join the party and have a piece of cake. dd doesn't want a piece and now that I'm not burning all those extra calories I shouldn't eat the whole thing myself!
