Darnit, I need my energy back! This is killing me-- by 4 pm I'm so tired I can barely hold my head up. I'm still working part-time, and my house is slowly sliding into total chaos. DD wet her bed today and there were no clean sheets to put on the bed. I have fruit flies. There's food going bad in the fridge because I can't find the energy to plan and cook decent meals. DH does the best he can, but he's got no talent for housework, and he's got his own work and graduate school to deal with. He's doing a great job taking care of Julia, but the housework is going undone and it's CRAZY.

Oh, I just want to feel HUMAN again, instead of like a torpid lizard. This bites. One day, that's all I ask, so that I can put things back the way they belong.

I feel you my friend! I don't have a toddler so I am not in as rough shape but I am working part time and so tired that like you, I am exhausted by 4 pm..
Hopefully that second trimester energy will kick in soon, I am 10 weeks..

I've been feeling the same way...I won't even talk about how bad the house is -- or what our diet has been like of late. Last night I fell asleep on the couch before 10 pm, then woke around 1 and went to sleep. Even though ds2 was up for an hour at 3am
:, I woke up at 9am feeling pretty good. I also dozed for 1/2 hour while I was trying to get ds2 to nap today. So that's it -- I need 10-12 hours of sleep every day/night...

Of course I would never have a second to myself if I did this every day -- or get to shower, but hey -- that isn't important, right?

I'm right there with all of you! I'm 9 weeks along, and 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. is the worst for me. I work full time, and DS goes to daycare 3 days a week. I actually leave work 45 minutes early on his daycare days, so I can go take a cat nap in my car in a gas station parking lot before I go to pick up DS.
If I don't, I can't get through the rest of the evening before DH gets home from work. I am normally not one to wish away the days, but I just want to get though the next few weeks and get my energy back.
