Can someone link me to some good sites for learning to crochet?? Or maybe recommend a good book. I am very, very visual so I need either incredibly detailed pics or a video tutorial that takes things step by step.<br>
I've been loving knitting and sewing lately (both new to me) and I'd love to pick up crocething too! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">

I'm pretty sure that <a href="http://www.craftyarncouncil.com" target="_blank">www.craftyarncouncil.com</a> used to have tutorials -- or try googling "learn to crochet"; you should come up with some useful links (probably even some with video!).<br><br>
P.S. Seeing your user name always makes me hungry -- I need to find out if my Baba has made any perogies lately... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/yummy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="yummy">

<a href="http://www.crochet.about.com" target="_blank">about.com</a> has some good info.<br><br>
Also, I know our library has a regular knitting meeting, basically just show up with your needles and yarn, whatever your skill level is, and knit together. There might be something like that for crochet or crafts in general near you.
