I'm not giving up on it. I got a padded closed tail jolly jumper ringsling when DD was born. I really wanted a wrap but didn't know what they were called so when I asked for a sling my best friend spent the money and bought me one.
At first it swallowed DD in fabric and didn't feel secure at all, but took the weight off my arms so i would use it for short walks cause it hurt my shouder.
I tightned it up as much as I could but it still didn't feel right.
I moved on to a bunch of different wraps which I love and have mastered, and a framed carrier for the winter.
During that time I have pulled 2 feet of padding out and cut a foot of the closed tail so I can now tighen it up but the way the rings are I can't tighten it with DD in there. I also need to be able to adjust just one rail. Its easier since I cut the tail and it is mostly open now, but I just can't master it.
I want to so bad because the wrap takes time to put one and I like that I can flip DD around in the ring sling, She''l sit forward, on my hip, cradled and on my back but I need to hold the sling taught. So I can make it work but I want to be hands free and secure. Plus it doesn't look great when you are advertising babywearing.
Anyone have any Idea Why I'm fighting with this and how to fix it. I'm getting ver tempted to pull it all a part and either use the rings to make a whole ne sling, or take the fabric and customize and redesign the whole thing but would be happy avoiding the work. I REALLY want to make this work though.

TIA

Sorry I don't know much about that brand of ring sling. I hae only ever had an open-tail ring sling and it is awesome! Maybe you need a new one?

I found that my ring was too small, and the design isn't the best. I'm ordering a Sachi solarveil or solarweave. http://www.sachicarriers.com/catalog.php?category=14
