Wow wow wow. I just found out a couple of hours ago. I'm seriously shocked and I was coming to terms with not having anymore kids and now this! I only had one period since having my baby in July and that was in March. The nurse guesstimates that I'm due Dec 25 but I'll probably be closer to January.

Lol! Been there, done that. Congrats!

In my case, I went for a "pre-insertion and pre-pay" visit, where I took a negative pregnancy test. I hadn't had a period since the birth of my (first) daughter. A few days later, right before my big appt., I took another test at home. It was positive.

My girls are 13 months apart.

Congrats! I am due in Jan, but both of my babies have been early. I am hoping this one hangs in there until mid Jan, lol.

Oh gosh! Congrats Hope you get over the shock soon....

Something similar happened to my cousin. She found out she was in her 2nd trimester and thought she had been sick and went in to find out why she was unable to beat whatever it was. She is a nurse too!

It makes a great story, though!

It doesn't feel real yet and definitely hasn't sunk in. But I have quite a while to get used to it.
