Hi all-
I will have to go back to work for a while after my maternity leave (I am making plans to start being a WAHM) I would like to find a place to leave my new baby that will at least sling him. I haven't begun looking at ccp around here yet mostly because I'm afraid of the reactions I'll get when I ask about cd, babywearing, and vax policies. Does anyone know of AP ccp in my area, or at least a place where I can find a listing of such providers?

TIA

Hi,
I'm in the Waterloo area and had to put ds in daycare once school started this fall, he was five months old. Our daycare is great about his cloth diapers, initally I found resistance from some as they claimed the health dept. wouldn't allow it. However, the health dept. does but they have reccomendations and it isn't one of them. They don't sling him for me though. We vax our little one and most daycares want a vax record, not sure how it all works. I would reccomend you look into an in home provider as they might be more willing participants. Another mama who practices the same techniques would be great but they are hard to come by. You can get a listing of all providers registered with child care resource and referral in our area. They are in the phone book, you just tell them what your looking for as far as in home or center and location and they will send you a list for you to weed through.
Best of luck to you
