My dd is not on any solids yet...just breastmilk. Today I noticed in her diaper that there were little red colored string-looking particles (approx 1 cm) in her poop. I've never noticed this before and it has me a little concerned. It's too late to call the dr. and just see what he has to say about it so I figured I would ask some of you. Is this normal and I've just never noticed? I am paying a little more attentional to the contents of her diapers now that I am cloth diapering.

My doc told me that streaks of red in the poop are often from anal fissures and this is very common in infants. It's one of those things that you gotta get checked though.
