ideas for using easter egg dyes kits?

Ok, so the easter egg dye kits are on sale, so I'm picking some up.

Any good ideas for using them?

So far I have:

Playsilks
Wool yarn?
Cotton yarn?
painting details on wool felt? like for play food? I don't know if it would work, just brainstorming.

Anyone have any good ideas? I figure I really shouldn't buy a lot of them unless I know what I'm going to do with them, but if I'm going to buy them, I want to snap them up now!

Also, how many tablets of a given color would I need to dye one playsilk - just for reference? Is one enough or do I need say, 3 green tablets per playsilk (I'm thinking 30 or 40 inches square)?
