I am going to strangle my 2 year old
. ....he is making me nutty :) and I do not know what to do!

I can not do anything with my 6 year old. Not even read a book! The whole time, no matter what book it is, ds2 is screaming. I have already moved any games, work whatever to ds2's nap time but we like to read a lot and ds2 does not like to nap a lot so sometimes it doesn't get done or like tonight he yells through the whole thing. He loves books but only the ones he picks out to read. Anything else is no go. Tonight I tried to get him to "pick" Math Fables.....but he isn't stupid and did not fall for my trick so the whole thing was not fun. I have tried reading out loud while the kids are eating, playing quietly, and during bath time. None have been very successful.

Anyone else gone through this? What did you do?! It gets better right?

TIA!!!!

OMG If I wasn't in the middle of moving house I would have so spent some time comisserating with ya
I have an almost 3yo (plus his 5 & 7yo brothers) who is hell on wheels from the time his feet hit the floor. Actually, from before that lately... he has an ear infection
so now night isn't even calm lol.

Unfortunately, I have no brilliant advice
I was lucky enough to have a toddler that adored his naps, until recently! So last year we got a LOT done during that 2hr nap... this year...not so much
I know eventually he will be old enough to sit through a story or play with play doh or blocks nearby while we do math etc... so about all I can say is this too shall pass!
