could you please send them back to me?

I don't remember swelling at all with dd and with ds I only swelled for a few days but it went away when he repositioned himself. With this one, for the last couple of weeks I end up with cankles by mid to late afternoon. So obnoxious and oh so attractive too. This, despite the incessant drinking of water which puts me in the bathroom constantly. It seems to only go away overnight after sleeping with my legs elevated a bit. I guess I should be thankful I'm not swelling anywhere else, though. Small blessings and all that.

Same here- mild swelling with first baby (only in the last week or so), no swelling with second baby, and this time- WOAH! Major cankles!

Mine are always better in the morning too, but I've found if I go swimming in the afternoon/evening then it helps a lot. Elevating them never works too well because I get antsy after laying with my feet that high after half an hour, LOL! But now I'm on bedrest for high BP, so I am hoping the swelling will go down too since I'm not on my feet as much.

Our ankles will be back soon!

I can't wait to get my ankles and feet back! I am down to 2 pairs of canvas shoes that fit... *sigh*. My ankles aren't as swollen in the AM as they are at night, but they are still swollen. I am thankful, though, because they are not quite as swollen as they were when I was pg with my DD!

All I can say is, my pedi is scheduled for Saturday afternoon...and I am only going cause I want the massage I went my last pregnancy to the same salon and the sweet lady there just worked and worked on getting that water to drain a bit. I swear it helped! Plus I went into labor within a couple days...one can hope right?!

I'm feeling the Shrek feet about now...but at least everything will be well moisturized and trimmed clean. Can't say that about anything higher up the legs.... .... but that's a different post.
