So he doesn't listen to anything I say. OK OK I understand he is the father but who carried Riley for nine months and went through labor yeah that's right I did. :LOL

Anyway I work PT evenings and weekends so DH watches Riley while I am at work.

First of all he doesn't change her often enough and by the end of the weekend she has a diaper rash and then I work all week to get rid of it only for it to come back again on the weekend.

THEN

HE PUT HER IN A DISPOSABLE....gasp!!!! He did it so he wouldn't have to change her as often and he thought it would help with the rash because the wetness wouldn't be next to her skin. OK So the chemicles that she isn't used to are better?

And a little OT the diaper subject but he was feeding her cows milk while I was gone when he ran out of my milk and then she was getting a rash on her skin and he wouldn't believe me that it was an allergic reaction. It took so much arguing to get him to stop doing that. Hello there is a ton of baby food and vegetables that he can cook for her in the fridge and if she is thirsty she can drink water.

Ok I am the mom and with her all day during the day just listen to me!!!!!!!

I understand COMPLETELY!!!
The diapering (besides the rash), I might could live with-but the cow's milk!!!!
My DB didn't used to change DD enough when we used more PUL/pockets. Now he loves the way the sherpa fitteds feel and uses those while I am gone. Then as soon as he is feeling the wetness he takes them off b/c he doesn't want a wet spot on his clothes! ha!
Men.....
Why did you even have those vile sposies in your house?

Your dh needs to grow up and get a clue. Being shy an X chromosome is no excuse for incompetence in babycaring, especially for one's own child!

Whoah! Maybe I should have stated that he is still a very loving caring father. He does work all day and sometimes on the weekends just so we can make ends meet and so I can stay home with DD during the day and care for her myself. And the spoises were left over and I couldn't just throw them away even though that is what they are meant for.

I am not going to get offended I am just going to assume the response was in good fun.
Soccerchic, i'm sorry that i'm LOL! at your exspense, but that sounds exactly like something my DH would do, as it stands now he's afraid to even be alone with Scott because he still nurses and he has never even changed one of his diapers. So, at least your DH is trying.
my dh is awesome, except for a few things

1. FOLD BACK LAUNDRY TABS!!

and

2. UNSTUFF THOSE FRIGGIN POCKETS!!

oh my gosh tell me about it. My DH requests aio's and pockets with aplix and doesn't do either of those things. And now since the WIO mishap he won't put any dipes in the diaper pail. He just piles them on top.
See less See more
we get piles next to the pail, and, every so often, I get a footfull of bf poo!

ICCCCCKKKKK!

I told him he's only allowed to use the aio's......
